Waving, her new thing!

She started this just the other day. I was outside watering the strawberries and Jonathan was in the window waving to her. She looked at him, picked up her hand and started moving it like he was doing. It was the cutest thing and just made us laugh. When she waves with her right hand it's more of the princess wave, in a circular motion. Now, she only waves when he is around. Once in a while if someone else is here she will wave, but I have tried to get her to wave to me and she won't. I had Jonathan get her to wave for this video because she wouldn't do it for me.

Chubby Cheeks!

It's a bit blurry, but you can see those chubby cheeks and how happy she is to eat an Oreo cookie for the first time. She LOVES it. Funny thing is I only gave her a few licks of it but she drooled so much she probably didn't get that much of it in her mouth. She was practically eating my fingers to get more. We did start giving her fruit today. We fed her bananas for the first time. She like them. A bit tart for her, but there was a smile on her face nonetheless. She loves squash as well. She likes all the vegetables we feed her other than the peas. We haven't tried green beans yet, but I did get a bottle of it so I guess we will see.

Schools Out!

Well, another semester down. We are so grateful to be done for the summer. We both did pretty well, grade wise. A's and B's. Can't get much better than that. Well, you can, but I am not worried about being a straight A student. I am just happy to get through the classes with a passing grade. That doesn't mean I am lazy, just some of these classes are more difficult. Nine credits stand between me and my degree. Jonathan has seventeen, but we should finish at the same time. It is great. Then who knows where the Lord will take us. He has tremendously blessed us in life. I just want to mention a few things that have been great blessings. One, my mom. She has helped us out by sending us clothes and getting us things for our little girl. Many other people have sent us clothes that have made it possible for us to clothe our child without having to spend any money on clothes. It has been a great blessing. Almost everything in our apartment has been gifts from others. From our dressers, to our couch and most recently a crib. I cannot thank the Lord enough for putting such wonderful people in my life that have blessed our family. There are several people who go through life struggling, but I have the most important things, the gospel and my family. I know without a doubt in my mind that there is a God. I know that he sent his son Jesus Christ to this earth to die that we might return to live in the presence of our father once again. I know our families and friends are here to help us learn and grow. I know that people come into our lives every day to prepare us for what may lay ahead. Life may not always be easy, but as long as we cherish the things that we do have we will always find joy. The other day I was putting the crib together and it's screws weren't the normal flat or philips screwdriver. You needed a allen wrench, I think that is what is called, but anyways, one came with our tv, so I used that on the crib. I know something so simple was a great blessing. It was just great that they were both the same size. It doesn't take much to be happy as long as you can see the simple things and notice that the Lord is in everything we do. There is no greater blessing than to know you always have someone looking out for you and you always have a family to go to when you need them. I love my family. I love my husband and my little girl. They remind me every day how much the Lord loves me, because he blessed me with them. I don't understand how I could be so blessed, but I am. I thank my husband for being so great and my little girl for always making me smile, and my family for always being there for me. I love you all.

Beef...It's what's for Dinner!

I just love this. She is really loving this cow. She will pretty much suck on anything she can get her hands on. Today it was her comb Nanna gave her. She loves sucking on the handle. She also loves when I spray the water from the spray bottle in her mouth. It's a good thing she cannot crawl yet.

Laundry Helper!

I think it is a picture every child must have. A picture of them helping with the laundry. She was getting fussy while I was folding the laundry, so I put her in the laundry basket and she was having the time of her life. It was cute. She is playing with her dress nine got her in Hawaii. She looks really cute in it, but I didn't get a picture of that. Well, she is doing great as she continues to grow. Give her a few more months and she may be crawling, if we can get her to go on her belly and if she can get off her belly. That is a lot to carry around. I love my little chunky girl. I am so glad she is so healthy.

BED HEAD!

Notice the lovely hair. This is one blessing and headache. I love her hair, but man keeping it maintained is a chore in itself. I still would not trade it for anything. I love her little curls. It may be crazy, but it is just as cute. She is such a wonderful little girl.

Real Food! Kinda!

Well, she loves carrots, if only she could keep them in her mouth. She likes to spit them and as you can see they lander on her nose. It was so cute I made Jonathan get the camera. She is getting to be such a big girl. It takes a lot out of me to remember to feed her. I was getting so use to just nursing her, but that is just not enough for this growing girl. It makes me smile to feed her. She likes food, once she gets past the newness of eating it. The crinkled up nose look is what we get at first, but she keeps eating. It's Great!

A Good Eater!

Daddy's boots!

It was so cute to see Aubrey in her daddy's boots. She had a hard time walking in them as you can see. She is such a fun little girl. She has a sweet spirit, and an adorable personality that makes you want to keep an eye on her because you never know what she might say or do next.

Batter Up!

Her cousins wanted to try their little baseball cap on Emma, so we put it on. She looks so cute, but it kind of makes her look like a boy. It's a good thing she has so much hair. It was a perfect fit.

Our Little Star!

How stylish is she! She looked so cute in these little star glasses I had to take a picture. We were watching the 4th of July Parade. It was hot, but thanks to our umbrella we had the shade we needed. Thanks to daddy for holding it for us.

Happy 4th of July!

Girls in stripes. Such a cute moment. It was great to get all the girls in their cute dresses.

Cousins are Great!

It's so nice to have cousins that play with a six month old. Emma enjoyed so much spending time with her cousins. They were great nice to play with her. Emma had a hard time at first, but she got use to the noise and enjoyed smiling at all her cousins. Hannah could always get a smile out of her.

Quack attack!

Here is our little girl in her duck outfit her Naini gave her. It's cute, because it says, "you quack me up." It is probably one of the few outfits she has that is not pink. She likes playing with the feet.

She's got Talent!

This was the funniest thing. She spit out her binky and it landed right on her nose. It was so funny. She didn't even try to take it off. She let it just sit there. These are moments I love having a camera. She is such a happy girl and I love her so much. She is so funny. She makes me smile all the time.

Sitting Up!

Her first day sitting up. I sat her up and she just sat there. I couldn't believe it. I hurried and grabbed the camera. She looked so cute sitting up and playing with her toys. My growing little girl. I sure do love her.

Together Again!

I just love pictures of my honey and our little girl. I am so grateful to have a wonderful husband and a wonderful little girl. She is getting so big and I am trying to cherish all moments with her and my husband.
