She Claps!

Okay, so I thought this didn't work so I took it off, but then was informed it did work so I am putting it back on. I didn't have it on for long so kudos for Elizabeth that watched it in such a short amount of time. Well, here is our little one clapping and saying "yea" with her daddy. It was so cute I couldn't resist recording it and putting it on my blog.

My Flowers!!

These are the beautiful flowers my husband bought me for our anniversary. I cried. I don't know what it is about getting flowers, but it just made my day. I guess it is knowing that he was thinking about me while he was gone.

I didn't have a flower vase so I put the in the only thing I could find to hold them. This little glass block has come in quite handy. As you can see I put the scripture that I stitched around it. I will think of something to do with it come holiday times.

Peek-a-boo!

I walked into the living room and this is what I saw. She was under the coffee table just happy as can be. It was the cutest thing so I took a picture. She is slowly learning to move around. It's fun, but I am sure I won't think so much when she really becomes mobile. I have a feeling that right now I am being spoiled by her not moving around but when she does, look out. I love these little moments. They just make me feel so happy. She really knows who I am and just loves when I spend time with her.

Graduation!

She has moved on to bigger and better things, from kitchen sink to her very own Rubbermaid tub. She is happy as ever. She just loves her little tub. She loves to sit and play and gets upset sometimes when I take her out. Her new thing is splashing the water. She thinks it is great when she slaps the water and it flies everywhere. She doesn't care for toys much. She likes the cup I use to dump water over her head and the other little blue plastic cup daddy gave her to play with because it makes noise when you squeeze it. Once in a while she'll try to grab anything she reach that is outside of the tub. I like her little bath as well. In a way it is much nicer than a bathtub. It saves me from having to bed over to wash her. I just stick this little thing on my table and she has a blast.

Getting There!

This is where she starts!

This is where she ends up. She cannot crawl, she cannot roll, but she is getting better at scooting on her back. She just pushes herself along the floor until she cannot go any further. Then, she gets upset because she cannot move any more.

WE LOVE YOU DADDY!!

The two girls in my Honey's life. We love you so much sweetheart and we are grateful for all you do for the both of us. Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary!!

Yep, this is him. The man I love and always will. He always has the same peaceful look on his face. It is amazing he puts up with me. He has two moods happy and confused. I say confused because I have over a hundred different moods I can be in so it confuses him. I don't know how I managed to find one of the greatest guys on this earth. He is such a strength to me and I am grateful to have him in my life. We have enjoyed the greatest and worst of each other. We continue to strive to look past the little things that don't matter and see our true potential. It is not easy sometimes, or a lot of the time, but we love each other nonetheless. I can't thank my Heavenly Father enough for knowing what kind of person I need to complete me. We are completely opposites, but we are learning to use it to our benefit. I just hope he can always put up with my hundreds of mood swings and I will accept the fact that he likes computer games. Neither one is easy to deal with but we try to understand and love one another unconditionally. I always dreamed of my prince charming and Jonathan is nothing like I dreamed. He is so much more. Happy Anniversary to us.

I wanted to put pictures of my wonderful husband on here with our darling baby girl because this is what we have to show after two years of marriage. I know it's only two years, but they have been wonderful.

Daddy and daughter playing Lego's together. Daddy brought out his old toys and was showing Emma the ropes of how to construct a masterpiece. It was a wonderful sight to see them playing together. I sure love them both so much. They really make my life meaningful and give me something to smile about each day.

Yum...Water from the hose!!

Emma loves drinking out of the hose. Daddy introduced it to her while I was pulling weeds in our front yard. It was a lot of fun. She thought it was the greatest thing ever. She soaked herself but it was funny. She dropped it and it landed just right so it was spraying her head. She was flapping her hands because she couldn't figure out what was going on. It was so fun. She is such a character. It was a lot of fun to watch her with daddy.

Taking notes for when she can play!

Emma loves watching her daddy play Mario Galaxy. She really gets into it. She will sit there just as long as he will. She thinks it is so much fun to spend time with daddy. I think it is because when she is with me I sit and play with her, feed her, and make her take naps. When she is with daddy she watches tv, plays games(computer and wii) , and does all kinds of fun things. It is crazy to see her sitting there with her daddy when only seven and a half months ago all she could do was lay there. Oh what a joy it has been for all of us.

Daily Lives!

No picture with this one. There's no cute picture to record the life of parents. Jonathan finally got a raise at work. I wish I could have taken a picture of the little dance he was doing when he came home because he was so excited. That is what happens when he says he is going to quit. Well, they wanted him to stay so they gave him a raise, which will help when it comes time for him to go back to school, next week. He has two more semesters. Twelve credits this semester and four next semester. He is also taking the GRE next semester so he has to study for it. He takes the GRE ten days after we get back from Hawaii. I look forward to that nice vacation. It will be more inviting once winter hits. As for me, being a mom is not easy. Most of the time I don't get dressed. The rest of the time I get dressed but with no make-up. I try to save money any way I can. I have a new calling at church so it should keep me a little busier, mainly on Sundays with meetings. I clean house, rearrange everything at least once a month, work on my Sudoku puzzles that mom bought me at the hospital, at times I wish I could work and make Jonathan stay home, but for the most part I enjoy being with our daughter. She makes me smile and laugh. She helps me see that the simple things in life we can enjoy. She teaches me something new every day. One thing she teaches me every day is to be forgiving. As adults we feel we need to choose when and how to forgive, but I look at her and she forgives immediately. She doesn't question anything. She even forgives herself, which may sound a little strange, but it is something we need to do. The other day she smacked herself in the head with a remote control and she pouted up her face but then she was fine. She tries to use her legs to scoot herself around the floor while laying down and she hits her head on things because she can only go up. She cries for a moment and then sits there trying to grab whatever she ran into. I love to be here for moments like that. What a blessing it is to have a family of my own and to learn each day from both my husband and my daughter. What a gift they both are to me. Well, I think that is all for now.

Lyle's Work Party cont...!

Here is Trevor with his pet snake. I think he got a spider on the other arm but I cannot remember. My memory is already fading. Thank goodness for pictures that help me remember more things. If it weren't for pictures and my journal my memories would be lost and gone forever, of course that is until the resurrection when I will have a perfect memory. Hooray for that!!

And Janice wonders why Emma was so scared of her. Just kidding. Janice took Emma down her first big slide. I think they tumbled a bit at the bottom, but it looked great. Notice the look on Emma's face. I don't think she knows what to think. I am glad I got a picture of Emma and her Aunt Janice, since I didn't even get a picture with her. How does that work?? I know Emma is much cuter and more fun to be with...I understand...sniff sniff... I miss all of you so much already. You need to come back so we can have more fun together.

Lyle's Work Party!

First of all, thank you Lyle for taking us all to your work party. It was a lot of fun. The three sandwiches, salad, three Oreo cookies and water was great. It filled me right up. It was a lot of fun to see all the kids having so much fun. Well, here is a picture of me, well the back side of me. If it weren't for Janice we wouldn't even have this one. Here is me attempting to climb the rock wall with shoes with no backs. It is not as easy as it looks. I think Lyle is the only one who reached the top.

Here is Janice and Trevor attempting the wall. GO TREVOR! The weren't really racing, and Trevor was on that wall for a while but you wouldn't know that unless I told you. It was a nice workout and it was fun.

I think Janice was the only one brave enough to attempt this one. She is brave. I think Trevor talked her into it. Plus the line was long. It looked fun, but I didn't have the guts. I might have gone if I knew they were going, but then I couldn't have taken this picture.
Here is THE MAN! I don't think this kid is afraid of anything. He just knows what fun is and goes for it. I think he has a lot of his mom in him. He may be a wild card but he has a heart of gold just like his mom and he is a cutie to boot.

Here is Lyle showing off! Yep, the only one to make it to the top. I guess I shouldn't say that. I cannot remember if Tanner made it to the top. It's in the genes. I think the whole lot of us is competitive but some of us express it more often. Cough Lyle...cough Leon... The rest of us take the back burner and watch the show.

Our Blessing!

I am so grateful for this happy little girl. Even when she is sick she is a happy girl. It helps that mom is letting her suck on the camera case, but she'll suck on anything as I have stated before. I have been keeping her in her warm pajamas so she doesn't get cold and make her sickness worse. It was a blessing because Aunt Lonna just sent us several of these pajamas. They are twelve months, but they fit her so why not let her wear them. Thank you Lonna.

I caught her in the middle of an excitement. She is just so happy that she can suck on this camera case. It's the highlight of her day when she sucks on things.

This is her new thing. She opens her mouth really wide. It is the funniest thing. I will start to laugh and she will open her mouth like this and try to laugh. It is hilarious. Jonathan and I were talking last night about how grateful we are to have such a wonderful little girl. She is always smiling, unless of course she is hungry, tired, or wants attention. Yet, for the most part she is wonderful and happy.

I love her!

I just love our little girl. She is wonderful. It was finally cold enough to put a long sleeve shirt on her and she looked so cute. The bows are helpful to keep the hair out of her face. Aunt Lonna sent her lots of bows and it has been nice because Emma's hair just keeps growing. She won't leave it tucked behind her ear.

Huckleberry Picking!

Emma and Abby are getting their rest before we get to our little spot. They want to make sure they have enough energy to pick the huckleberries.

Emma didn't like picking berries so we waited in the car while everyone picked berries.

It's a bit of a hike before we found berries. All the berries down low were already picked. We were happy they were ripe. Unlike last time when we drove out to pick them and there was nothing.

Here is Jonathan and our neighbors picking berries while Emma and I watch from below. We were completely soaked up to our thighs because of the rain the day before and that morning. I only picked a few berries before Emma got tired of bending over with me. She didn't like it much, but it was fun while it lasted. Other than it being a little chilly.
