Okay, so I thought this didn't work so I took it off, but then was informed it did work so I am putting it back on. I didn't have it on for long so kudos for Elizabeth that watched it in such a short amount of time. Well, here is our little one clapping and saying "yea" with her daddy. It was so cute I couldn't resist recording it and putting it on my blog.

My Flowers!!
These are the beautiful flowers my husband bought me for our anniversary. I cried. I don't know what it is about getting flowers, but it just made my day. I guess it is knowing that he was thinking about me while he was gone.
I didn't have a flower vase so I put the in the only thing I could find to hold them. This little glass block has come in quite handy. As you can see I put the scripture that I stitched around it. I will think of something to do with it come holiday times.

Daily Lives!
No picture with this one. There's no cute picture to record the life of parents. Jonathan finally got a raise at work. I wish I could have taken a picture of the little dance he was doing when he came home because he was so excited. That is what happens when he says he is going to quit. Well, they wanted him to stay so they gave him a raise, which will help when it comes time for him to go back to school, next week. He has two more semesters. Twelve credits this semester and four next semester. He is also taking the GRE next semester so he has to study for it. He takes the GRE ten days after we get back from Hawaii. I look forward to that nice vacation. It will be more inviting once winter hits. As for me, being a mom is not easy. Most of the time I don't get dressed. The rest of the time I get dressed but with no make-up. I try to save money any way I can. I have a new calling at church so it should keep me a little busier, mainly on Sundays with meetings. I clean house, rearrange everything at least once a month, work on my Sudoku puzzles that mom bought me at the hospital, at times I wish I could work and make Jonathan stay home, but for the most part I enjoy being with our daughter. She makes me smile and laugh. She helps me see that the simple things in life we can enjoy. She teaches me something new every day. One thing she teaches me every day is to be forgiving. As adults we feel we need to choose when and how to forgive, but I look at her and she forgives immediately. She doesn't question anything. She even forgives herself, which may sound a little strange, but it is something we need to do. The other day she smacked herself in the head with a remote control and she pouted up her face but then she was fine. She tries to use her legs to scoot herself around the floor while laying down and she hits her head on things because she can only go up. She cries for a moment and then sits there trying to grab whatever she ran into. I love to be here for moments like that. What a blessing it is to have a family of my own and to learn each day from both my husband and my daughter. What a gift they both are to me. Well, I think that is all for now.

Huckleberry Picking!
Here is Jonathan and our neighbors picking berries while Emma and I watch from below. We were completely soaked up to our thighs because of the rain the day before and that morning. I only picked a few berries before Emma got tired of bending over with me. She didn't like it much, but it was fun while it lasted. Other than it being a little chilly.
