From December 19 to November 3

Well there is nothing like going to the doctor thinking you are only eight weeks pregnant and them telling you you are fourteen weeks pregnant. There is a joy it brings knowing you only have to deal with a few more weeks of being sick instead of eight to ten more weeks of sickness. We are pretty excited to have another baby. Of course, horrors of the first pregnancy are becoming more visual to me and I fear the day I give birth. This one better come faster. If I have to go through another 23 hours of labor, this will be the last. I am sure I thought that after having Emma. The lady taking the sonogram said by the looks of it we might be getting a boy, but it was still to soon to tell. Jonathan would be overjoyed because then he will have his fishing buddy. Lets just hope he likes to fish, if it is a boy. The baby is due November 3 or November 10 if we follow the same pattern as Emma. Oh little lemon please come on time.

My Little Girl!

I just can't believe how fast she is growing up. I just love her so much and she is my adorable little girl. She makes me laugh all the time. We have lots of fun together. I just love to hear her laugh. Hearing her laugh makes me laugh even more. She is definitely growing right before my very eyes and I still can't believe it sometimes. She is a big help. She is only one and can crawl up and down stairs, she can close the cupboards and closets when she is done in them (I'm trying to get her to teach daddy, because he still can't seem to get it). She likes to wipe up her messes with a wipe I give her and if I am ever cleaning she likes to take a towel that she pulls from off the oven door and goes around wiping off cupboard doors, the fridge, the table, the floor, and pretty much anything in her reach. Hopefully she keeps it up.

Attached!!

I don't know why but she has all of a sudden become attached to the binky and the blanky. It is the cutest thing but I hope it is just a teething thing. She had her canines just break through and her molars are still swelling her gums.

Our Cutie!

Well, Emma helped with the groceries. I think she was a little confused on where to put them so she put them in our room. At least she likes to help.
Here is Emma and daddy getting ready for the cupcakes. Emma is such a big help. She gets pretty fussy if she can't help. She is such a smart little girl. She may not say to many words but I am impressed with how much she understands.

No More A Baby!

My baby is getting so big. I guess now that she is walking I should be calling her my little girl.
Boy does she know how to make a mess. Most of the time she tries to clean up the mess, but doesn't quite get it to fit back into the drawer.
She loves walking. I am so proud of her. She has really picked up walking. It doesn't matter how many times she falls down, she always gets back up. It was a good lesson for me yesterday in church. Since she doesn't quite sit still through Relief Society, we were out walking the halls and she kept falling down, but always got back up. It is a great lesson in life. No matter how many times we fall down or someone hurts us or something unexpected happens we have to get back up and keep going. Just like I walk behind Emma watching her fall. I am also there for her waiting for her to get back up. She always gets up with a smile and keeps going. I hope I can always do that throughout my life.
Little miss sneaky. She found the cookies and managed to open the bag. Not just grabbing one, but two. The funny thing is she ended up sticking them back in the bag because she doesn't like the hard ones. She only like the soft Chip Ahoy. Yet, she'll put anything in that mouth. Oh how I worry about summertime and bugs. If there is something in her mouth, I shouldn't even bother wondering unless she starts choking. Because if I open her mouth and find a bug, I'll freak. Bluuuhhhh!!!

Graduation Day!!

Here is our Graduate! A Bachelor's Degree Down...
A Master's Degree to go!
I am so proud of Jonathan. He has worked really hard to get to this point. We have come a long way together. Life has been pretty crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep going. I will get my associates degree next semester and then we will move so he can go to graduate school. It has been a wonderful journey. Stressful at times but wonderful. Jonathan is happy because now he can grow the goatee he's been wanting to grow ever since he grew it out for a week break we had. At least BYU-Idaho has kept him clean shaven, but that time is over. He wants to grow it out for when his brother comes back from his mission. He gets home May 2. That gives him three weeks. With as fast as his facial hair grows it should be at least three inches by then. Then, no kisses for him. If he ever let it get that long, I might just cut it off in the middle of the night. He wouldn't even know as well as he sleeps.

Sleepy!

I couldn't help taking a video of Emma. She woke up at two in the morning and this video was taken at five-thirty. It was a long morning for all of us, but this video made it worth it. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

Learning Daddy's Ways!

Yes, she is learning to use the computer even before she can walk. She sure loves the computer. She stands at daddy's chair every time he gets on the computer. She loves being on the computer with daddy.
Here she is learning to play the Wii with daddy. She loves holding a controller while daddy plays. She swings it back and forth just like daddy. It is the cutest thing.

More Hawaii!

Jonathan's mom took a picture of us standing at the waters edge. It was great. It was a beautiful sunset. The next day we saw a few whales not far from this beach just splashing their tales and demanding all kinds of attention.
Well this is the Amazing sandcastle Jonathan, Elizabeth, and I managed to create. We thought it was pretty cool. It was a lot of fun.
Here is little miss Emma after crawling around on the floors at the airport. Don't worry... I changed her after she was all done exploring.
Here is little miss crawling across the floor with Daddy following not far behind. She got a lot of attention. Everyone thought she was so adorable, even covered in dust and food.
Here is our last night on the beach. It was pretty amazing. Emma wasn't fond of the beach at all. She was terrified of the water. Every time she heard the water rush up she freaked out and clung for dear life.
Here's our baby sitting in front of the shark tank. It was pretty cool. I didn't use the flash because I thought I would get a really bad glare. Well, later Jonathan took pictures with the flash and it worked fine. I had already missed the moment to take cute pictures with the sharks. She got tired of it quickly. Plus, she really hates being in the dark.

Hawaii!

Daddy and Emma enjoying the sunset together. I love taking pictures of the two loves in my life. They mean so much to me. I feel so blessed to have two such wonderful people in my life.

Daddy and Emma at the aquarium. Emma has had enough. Some days she did well and others she was just exhausted. She missed a lot of naps, so that could have done it, but she was still one amazing girl for all we put her through.
Two beautiful ladies. Here is Emma with her aunt Anna on our walk. Anna was trying to get Emma to wear a plumeria flower in her hair. Didn't work, but they still both look beautiful.
Daddy and Emma on the beach. We had a good day at the beach. It was nice. Jonathan, Elizabeth (Jonathan's sister), and I build a sand castle. I don't have any pictures of it, but it was pretty cool.
Here is the love of my life our first day at the beach. We went for a walk our first day there and Jonathan couldn't resist going in the water.
Daddy and Emma first time on the beach. Emma wasn't to happy about it. She did not like the water one bit. She held tight every time she could hear the water.

Emma is happy in her car seat. She is such a wonderful little girl. We love her so much.

I did my best to keep Emma entertained. It was not the greatest of traveling, but she did well. We had a rough night. We spent the night at Jonathan's uncles home and we slept for two hours. Emma woke up at two in the morning. I tried all I could to get her to go back to sleep but it did not happen. It made it a long day of flying, but we all did pretty good.

Jonathan was completely exhausted. He tried to get some sleep on these chairs, but it just wasn't working. We don't know how people sleep in an airport. It just isn't the most comfortable spot to sleep.

TWO WEEKS!!

Two more weeks and we will be enjoying the wonderful beaches of HAWAII. Oh, I can't wait. I need to get away from this cold and school for a week. I don't know why but today I am more excited to go than I have been and we've had the tickets for months. I can't wait!!!

Emma's Birthday Cupcake!

What a Happy Birthday it was with this cupcake. She didn't have the best of nights, but this cupcake made everything wonderful.

Catch Up!!

This is Emma with band-aids all over her legs from her one year shots. Three in the left leg and four in the right. It was crazy. I couldn't believe all the needles at one time. I would have freaked out more than she did. She was an amazing girl, so we rewarded her with another cupcake. She was wonderful.

Here is Emma opening her present from nain. She tore it out of the packaging, but hasn't played with it since. I am sure she will get there eventually.
One of her favorite things to do is eat. She loves eating. She is all about doing it on her own. She doesn't like any help. She is so independent it is crazy, but at least I know she has a lot of her mommy in her.

Her she is just beginning the unwrapping of her present. Every time she would rip a piece of paper that was what she wanted to play with. We had to keep taking the little pieces away until she had it all unwrapped.

Here is one of the Christmas pictures we took at Lonna's house. It is such an Emma thing because she eats everything. It was great being down there with her. Emma just loved playing with her cousins. I think she really misses having kids to play with.

Another Christmas picture. She is just so cute. I am surprised she smiled because she was crying at the top of her lungs moments before. I am sure you can tell by the sweat and her hair matted to her head.
Here is Emma playing castle with daddy. It was so cute. She is definitely a girly girl, but we still love her.
Oh how she loves playing with the stereo. It's not pushing buttons. Nope, she goes for the the volume knob. She loves it. It's the first thing she went for on her knees. Oh how we love her. She is such a great blessing to us.
We just love our little girl. It was wonderful celebrating her first Christmas. Not that she opened any of her presents, but she tried for a few second before getting bored.
